Big fine for speeding Hucknall driver

A Hucknall driver has been fined more than £800 after being caught speeding.

Nottingham Magistrates’ Court heard that Ryan Thomasen was clocked doing 53mph in his van in a 30mph zone on Mansfield Road in Underwood on the evening on June 20, 2019.

Thomasen, 29, of Broomhill Road, pleaded guilty and was fined £850, and also ordered to pay £85 costs.

He also had six penalty points put on his driving licence.
