Mansfield man nabbed buying heroin
Terry Dawson, 47, of Hillmoor Street, Pleasley, admitted possessing the Class A drug when he appeared before magistrates in Mansfield on Wednesday.
Chloe Griggs, prosecuting, said Dawson was spotted by officers entering a block of flats on Sandy Lane which was known to be popular with drug dealers.

Hide Ad“He was searched and officers saw him drop a wrap of foil on to the ground,” she said. “In a second interview he admitted it was heroin.”
Simon Greaves, mitigating, said the £10 of drugs were for personal use and he had not been in trouble with the courts ‘for many years.’
He was fined £50 and ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £30.
