Nottinghamshire County Council has said that this year aerosol cans can also go in your recycling bin to free up space in your general waste bin - but make sure they are empty and please remove the lids.
Glass bottles and jars do not go in the recycling bin.
If you live in Ashfield, Gedling or Broxtowe, glass bottles and jars will be collected from the kerbside in a box or bag. Elsewhere in the county, use your local bottle bank or recycling centre. Christmas cards can also be recycled as long as they don’t have glitter, but why not save them to make gift tags for next year?
